CostruzioniMetalliche (CM) is the oldest Italian technical journal devoted to steel constructions. It was founded in 1949 with the scope to promote for over than seventy years the diffusion of research activity, design and construction expertise in steelwork field. Editorial contents refer to every aspect of steel structures realisation: research, engineering, architecture, construction, codes and standards, history of steel structures, market surveys, books reviews.

CM is the official magazine of CTA (CollegiodeiTecnicidell’Acciaio) which is the Italian association of steel experts and constructors and also the essential Italian provider of technical expertise and best practice advice to the steel construction sector. Having since from the beginning the double layout for the main paper contents, it has always paid great attention to the European and worldwide context.

CM is particularly attentive to the demands of innovation, sustainability, economy and speed of realization, in the field of large infrastructural works as well as in the civil construction and housing sector. It is as a useful information and training tool for technicians, designers, entrepreneurs, technical managers of public administrations, professionals, teachers, researchers and students.
